ConnectedHotel's VDSL high-speed solution allows for up to 16-18 Mbps, and the SDSL allows for 6-8 Mbps of data transfer. This technology is quite similar to the CAT5 solution except it uses the existing telephone wiring and allows for simultaneous communication on the telephone and the Internet.
